Kymberley - Owner of MIM SUPPORTS and Support Coordinator

Hi, I’m Kymberley and I am the owner of MIM SUPPORTS. I am also an Australian Army Veteran, an experienced Support Coordinator for adult NDIS participants, and now the parent of a child with Cerebral Palsy.

My daughter Macy was born in May 2021 with a Congenital Heart Defect, and what followed was a long and challenging 7-month hospital admission. During that time Macy developed an Acquired Brain Injury which eventually led to a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and an ongoing journey navigating NDIS funded supports.

The natural progression for my professional career was the development of MIM SUPPORTS, a company specialising in support coordination services for children requiring early childhood intervention from the NDIS.

I know first-hand the complexities of navigating a child’s medical journey, and finally feeling like you’re on top of their care needs, to then enter the unknown world of therapies, NDIS plans and funding. It can feel both overwhelming and isolating. This is where MIM SUPPORTS comes in. You are not alone.

The team at MIM SUPPORTS are here to listen, guide and offer advice about accessing the NDIS, aid in understanding and using NDIS plans to achieve goals, as well as provide personalised assistance to support you and your family to build connections between NDIS providers, the community, mainstream and other government services.

I look forward to speaking with you and being part of your child’s success with achieving their goals and having the bright future that they deserve.

Vicky - Support Coordinator

Hi, I'm Vicky and I have recently joined the MIM SUPPORTS team in a Support Coordination role.

I bring to the role 17-years of experience as a Registered Paediatric Nurse, and over 3-years’ experience as a parent carer of an NDIS participant, my own little miracle, Teddy. He is now a very cheeky 3-year-old boy who has Cerebral Palsy. Since becoming his mother, I have learnt so much about the NDIS space from a participant’s point of view, and the challenges associated with finding the supports and health professionals needed in a time that can be very hard and confusing for parents.

I am originally from England, and I arrived in Australia in 2010. I have a love of all things outdoors, as well as socialising with friends from all over the world who now live in Brisbane. I also have a little fury baby call Bailey, he is a 10year old Lab-x but sees himself as my original baby.

I am so excited for all that MIM SUPPORTS can offer the community, and I can’t wait to start working with you. I am a very open person and a firm believer in there never being a silly question. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a FREE initial consultation, and we can answer any questions you might have around the services we can provide, and how the support we offer can work for you and your family.
